It&#8217;s a pretty exciting time for\u00a0sharing all of the great time-savers and tricks we&#8217;ve learned over the past few years. We have\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"FCP X Techniques - Creative Cow\" href=\"http:\/\/forums.creativecow.net\/fcpxtechnique\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Creative Cow<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"FCP.co\" href=\"http:\/\/FCP.co\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">FCP.co<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"MacBreak Studio\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PL607BE2B2BFE9BE1A\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">MacBreak Studio<\/span><\/a><\/span>,\u00a0the multitude of <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"Facebook FCP X Groups\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/search\/str\/fcp%20x\/groups-named\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Facebook FCP X groups<\/span><\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"#FCPX on Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23FCPX&amp;src=typd\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#FCPX<\/span><\/a><\/span> on Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo,\u00a0and, of course, <em>all<\/em> those editor blogs\u00a0(including yours truly). To put it plainly, FCP X videos and articles are everywhere and I don&#8217;t see this\u00a0trend slowing down any time soon.<\/p>\n<p>In the interest of culling\u00a0together an updated list of the best\u00a0resources, I&#8217;m posting some of my favorites. I&#8217;ll update this list whenever something pops up that catches my eye.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check back\u00a0regularly to this post\u00a0for updates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FCP.co is the first site I visit in the morning. They post some of the best detailed workflows for high-end work.\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><strong><a title=\"Read how the new Sony Xperia commercial got cut on Final Cut Pro X\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fcp.co\/final-cut-pro\/articles\/1433-read-how-the-new-sony-xperia-commercial-got-cut-on-final-cut-pro-x\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Breakdown of workflow on a recent Sony Xperia commercial.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sam Mestman got the ball rolling with FCP X. He made a bunch of great tutorial\u00a0videos in 2013 which showed us\u00a0that FCP could exist\u00a0in the professional space. FCP has had a few updates\u00a0since he posted\u00a0these videos, but they are still relevant and continue to be\u00a0a great resource.\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><a title=\"FCP X RED Workflow Part 1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_OtsoA7Wbbc\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">RED Workflow Part 1<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><a title=\"FCP X &amp; Resolve Workflow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Oxv-RWQmI1M&amp;list=TLuhtBtfA7DEOq0-pfAc6FDhb6VZNPQdIY\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">FCP X &amp; Resolve Workflow<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Chris Fenwick is always fun to listen to. In addition to his podcast, <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"Subscribe to FCPX Grill on iTunes\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/fcpx-grill\/id757640927?mt=2\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">FCPX Grill<\/span><\/a><\/span>, his tip vids are chock-full of great information.\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"Real Time Editing with Chris Fenwick\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JzEQFJub-30\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Chris shows us how to do a &#8220;real time edit.&#8221; Just watch and you&#8217;ll see what I mean.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><a title=\"Final Cut Pro X Video Tutorial: Compound Clips for Music\" href=\"http:\/\/www.premiumbeat.com\/blog\/final-cut-pro-x-video-tutorial-compound-clips-for-music\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Using\u00a0Compound Clips to replace an unlicensed music track.<\/span><\/a><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #003300;\">This is a workaround for relinking.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Richard Taylor&#8217;s FCPX.tv is a great place to find tips and tricks.\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><a title=\"Richard Taylor's Tips\" href=\"http:\/\/fcpx.tv\/Pages\/tipstricksindex.html\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A full list of Richard&#8217;s Tips<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Richard also keeps an updated list of articles and tutorials on his <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a title=\"FCPX.tv\" href=\"http:\/\/fcpx.tv\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">main page<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Be sure to check that out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>I wouldn&#8217;t be\u00a0a good self-promoter if I didn&#8217;t add some of my own videos to the list.
